Itomori in Your Name.
Itomori (糸守, Itomori) is a town in the Gifu Prefecture in Japan. It is the hometown of Mitsuha Miyamizu from Your Name.
Background[]
The town grew around Lake Itomori, which formed where Comet Tiamat hit thousands of years ago. It is known that the comet hit the same location multiple times. The two recent hits took place 1200 years before the movie's plot and on October 4, 2013, during the plot.

Itomori destroyed
Itomori did not have cafes or hospitals. It was mostly compromised of family houses surrounded by farms, fields and gardens. There was a train station and one school that served the whole region around Itomori. The power in the town was provided through a single substation.
The town was destroyed on October 4, 2013. Due to Taki Tachibana's actions in Mitsuha Miyamizu's body and two timelines were formed. In the first timeline without his intervention 500 people died in the disaster. In the second timeline that existed due to his intervention, 104 people were injured, but the rest of the inhabitants survived without any injuries.
After the disaster in 2013, many residents of Itomori moved to Tokyo. Multiple characters, such as Mitsuha, Yotsuha Miyamizu, Sayaka Natori and Katsuhiko Teshigawara appeared in Tokyo years after Tiamat had hit.
