Making up one-third of the Lumine shopping complex at Shinjuku, the seven-story Lumine 2 mall is centered on fashion and household goods. It’s directly connected to JR Shinjuku Station and its first floor begins immediately to the east of the station’s South Gate, with kiosks and cafes including Dean & Deluca.[1]

On May 13, 2013, LUMINE 2 was briefly seen when Takao Akizuki emerged from Shinjuku Station.

On September 5, 2016, LUMINE 2 could be briefly seen when Taki Tachibana, possessed by Mitsuha Miyamizu, emerged from Shinjuku Station at 9:32 am.
In Weathering with You[]
LUMINE 2 could be briefly seen next to Shinjuku Station, where Hodaka Morishima took shelter in June 2021.
It later appeared more prominently in August, as Hodaka came here to buy a birthday gift at MocA Tokyo, a jewelry shop on the second floor of the mall. It ends up being submerged in the movie.
