Miho Kasuga (春日海帆, Kasuga Miho) is a minor character in The Garden of Words novel.
Background[]
Miho Kasuga was a childhood friend of Takao Fujisawa in junior high school and his first crush. She was 2 years older than Fujisawa.
In The Garden of Words novel[]
After Fujisawa heard the news of his parent divorce, he had a date with Kasuga, in which he stole her first kiss but then ran away from it. When he tried to find and reconcile with her days later, he learned that her parents had also divorced and she had moved away. Kasuga's last letter to him through a friend read "Give it your best, Takao Akizuki."

- The name Miho means "sea, ocean" (海) (mi) and "sail" (帆) (ho).
- Miho's surname Kasuga means "spring" (春) (ka) and "sun, day" (日) (suka/suga).
