Sangūbashi Park (参宮橋公園, Sangūbashi Kōen) is a small park in Yoyogi, Shibuya, Tokyo, Japan. It appears briefly in 5 Centimeters per Second.
History[]
The park was built in 2006 on the site of a metropolitan housing. It is three-minute walk from Sangūbashi Station.

In their childhood, Takaki Tōno and Akari Shinohara usually passed by this site, which was still a small grove, on their way from school. One day in their Grade 6, looking at sakura petals falling down here, Shinohara discussed how their falling speed is 5cm/s.
One day in April 2008, Tōno passed by this park before his fateful encounter with Shinohara at a nearby train crossing.

10 years after Tōno's departure, Kanae Sumida passed by this park on her trip in Tokyo to find him.
