Tamaki Iwato (岩戸環, Iwato Tamaki) is a character in Suzume. She is the aunt of Suzume Iwato.
Background[]
Tamaki Iwato was born in July 1983, six years after her sister Tsubame Iwato. After Tsubame died in the Great East Japan Earthquake in 2011, Tamaki took in her orphaned niece Suzume and raised her as her daughter in Tonami. She worked in a fishery cooperative along with Minoru Okabe at Tonami Fishing Port.

- The name Tamaki means "ring, link" (環).
